At 25 years old - and just starting his first few months in the sport of triathlon - Chris found himself in an accident - breaking nearly every bone in his foot and ankle. After a faith-fueled recovery, he continued his pursuit of triathlon and went on to win multiple titles at the 2002 Ironman Wisconsin, 2005 Ironman Canada, and 2006 Ironman Japan triathlons - ultimately leading to his masterful performance at the 2009 Ironman World Championships - placing 2nd.

Chris’ life journey has been one filled with experiences, successes, failures, and struggles. His goal now is to share the lessons he’s learned and help the experiences and the lives of others through teaching and leading to who God intended and desires them to be.
